Once in a lifetime…
Throughout our evolution as a business, community as always been at the heart of everything we do. Whether from the Streetwear scene and our RunRide days, to our annual Graff jams at the Stoke Hall of Fame or encouraging peoples interests in Print culture – we love the people that we interact with on a daily basis.
It’s been a funny ol’ time for us all for nearly 12 months now hasn’t it? One thing that hasn’t changed is our love for you guys – our immediate community. Behind the scenes we’ve been busy looking at ways to adapt our environment the only way we know how for when we get to see our friends on the street and you all engage with them once again!
Piccadilly and the Cultural Quarter in Stoke-on-Trent (where we live) is an ever evolving space. To produce new life requires new experiences & new engagements and so we got our thinking caps on as to what we could do to give a little back to our community. Something as simple as spending a single day adding a lick of paint and addressing bin storage at what could be considered a key gateway into the Cultural Quarter, a spot that sees thousands of people each year pass through and needed a little cheering up.
Sometimes we too need reminding of the positive things around us. Somethings cost no money from anyone and do a world of good, they restore our faith in why we do, what we do. As small independent businesses it’s you guys, our community that inspire us to open in the first place (It’s a bold step to make in the beginning!) It’s you that fills us with hope and keeps us focused and we truly hope to see everyone around again in the near future 😀
In the meantime check in with folk, keep smiling, where possible support your local independents, take every opportunity you can, and remember we’ve got one go at this so do it well!
